Thank you very much for choosing the Cuyahoga EITC Coalition to complete your tax return. We are a group of community partners and volunteers, all of whom are certified by the IRS to complete your taxes. We look forward to seeing you very soon! Please read the below information carefully so you are prepared for your appointment.

The tax preparation process may vary depending on the tax site. At select sites you will give your documents to a preparer and you will wait in your car or a designated room while it is being prepared. Other sites may ask you to return at a designated day and time to pick up and sign your tax return.

If you are having your return done at a drop-off location, these sites will have capacity for a maximum of two (2) people at any given time to wait in the lobby if you are traveling by bus or arriving on foot and cannot easily return later.

All tax sites require an appointment this year - there will be no walk-in appointments.

List of Documents to Bring

Failure to bring all required documentation with you to your appointment will delay the processing time.

100% Virtual Tax Preparation is back! Volunteers are ready and able to complete your tax return. There are some things you need to know before you sign up:

1. Because you will be uploading your documents into the software, you will need either a smart phone with a camera or access to a scanner to show clear images of your tax forms.

2. You will need your social security card and photo ID plus social security cards of each person on the tax return to complete your taxes.

3. The tax preparation process from beginning to end takes approximately one week, provided you upload your documents and sign your return in a timely manner.

4. Volunteers will be scheduling phone calls with you if they have questions and to go over your return. You will need to have access to a reliable number and a quiet space.

If you meet these requirements and agree to these time frames, please visit the link below to begin this process.
